BlizzCon 2008 - The Kotaku Griffon Has Landed BlizzCon 2008 (via Kotaku) - After a lovely plane ride to Phoenix, Arizona to pick up an additional crewmember and a lovely drive across vulture country, I have arrived at the Anaheim Convention Center in California, where thousands are gathering for BlizzCon 2008. The registration lines were pretty packed even for this late at night, with the notable exception of the press line, where we just sauntered up, grabbed our stuff, and bolted. Dead Rising Wii Is A Terrible, Terrible Idea Tokyo Game Show 2008 (via Kotaku) - I just spent some time playing Dead Rising on the Wii. Waiting in line, I was treated to one of the game's new additions: a new movie (you know, like the one that played if you left the title screen inactive on the 360 version). It was a zombie hardcore band, rocking out in front of a zombie hardcore crowd, like a music video. Discuss (0) | Login to recommend | 3 months ago

Hands On With Sega's Let's Tap Tokyo Game Show 2008 (via Kotaku) - Yuji Naka, formerly of Sega, now of Prope, had his latest game on display at Tokyo Game Show. It's Let's Tap! a (wait for it...) supposedly penguin friendly mini-game collection that uses the Wii remote in a unique way. No, really. It's one of the few Wii titles that requires that players never actually touch the Wii remote to play. Discuss (0) | Login to recommend | 3 months ago

Molynuex More About Emotions, Less About Trees Fable II (via Kotaku) - Lionhead's Peter Molyneux letter to reviewers for Fable II is much ado about nothing, the outspoken developer said in an interview today. It was meant not to dictate how reviewers to do their job, but instead offer some insight into what the people behind the upcoming game would find interesting. Lets TGS: The Scariest Booth Companion Tokyo Game Show 08 (via Kotaku) - Not all booth companions have to show skin. Some don't have to show any at all. This booth companion doesn't have to even show her face. Spotted at the Tecmo booth and passing fliers for a suspense title, this female companion was outfitted in a rubber mask that showed off her ample eye lashes. New Resident Evil 5 TGS Trailer Capcom (via Kotaku) - Another great trailer for you guys! This of course comes courtesy of Capcom in honor of Tokyo Game Show and it's quite epic. It gives us a little insight on how the plot is going to develop in Resident Evil 5 around Chris Redfield. But that's not all, there are plenty of other shotgun toting favorites, old and new, that make an appearance. Discuss (0) | Login to recommend | 3 months ago

Justify Your Patapon 2 Patapon 2 (via Kotaku) - I really liked the idea behind Patapon, but for some reason I lost interest quickly after the final game finally landed in my Playstation Portable. I suspect it was because it was just too hard for me to maintain concentration for the duration of the battles. I'm skittish like that. Discuss (0) | Login to recommend | 3 months ago
